Steven J. Mandel, co-chair of Warshaw Burstein’s Matrimonial and Family Law Group, and formerly the founder of The Mandel Law Firm, has been practicing law in the tough New York City legal environment since 1980.
Steve has been selected as a “Top 100 Lawyer in the United States” and a “Super Lawyer”. Margaret M. Brady, Partner | Co-Chair, Matrimonial and Family Law Group
Ms. Brady is a member of the firm’s matrimonial and family law practice group. She has successfully represented clients in a variety of contexts, including but not limited to, pre- and post-marital agreements, divorce, custody and child support and equitable distribution litigation, dissolution of civil unions and domestic partnerships, and family court proceedings.
Hon. Jane Pearl (Ret.), Partner
Judge Pearl previously worked with Mr. Mandel at The Mandel Law Firm. A former judge of the New York City Family Court, she represents parents and children in matrimonial and family law matters. She also serves as a parent coordinator, mediator and trial consultant. As a Ph.D. psychologist, Judge Pearl represents her clients from an interdisciplinary legal and clinical perspective.
Jennifer Balter, Associate
Ms. Balter is a member of Warshaw Burstein’s matrimonial and family law practice group. She has diverse experience in the various aspects of matrimonial and family law, including but not limited to, prenuptial and post-nuptial marital agreements, separation agreements, divorce proceedings, custody disputes, child support and equitable distribution litigation, adoption and second parent adoption, orders of parentage, and family court proceedings.
